It’s with great pleasure and a little moistness of eye that we announce the launch of our brand new website and the release of our first single in over twenty-three years. (We needed a lay down after the 80s.) The new track, ROCKET BOY, which was made form the freshly spun gossamer of a thousand virgin spiders, will be released on June 25th 2007 and will be available in shops. Oh yes weary consumer! And as if that weren’t enough it will also be available to you as a digital down load on i-tunes and other digital online outlets.
To accompany this monumental occasion we have made a video, which you can view by clicking the multimedialink at the top of this page.
But be warned, it should not be watched while engaging in any form of food preparation.
In addition to this release KAJAGOOGOO; featuring NICK BEGGS, STEVE ASKEW and STUART CROXFORD NEALE, (he’s Posh GooGoo) will perform live at the RETROFEST, Culzean Castle, Scotland on Saturday 1st Sept along with many other great and not so great bands. We hope you will join us there for what should be a festival.
The band is also recording a new collection of table wear which should be ready for release on an album around tea time 2008, and are enjoying the familiar process of bossing each other around in the studio…………………. Bored yet?........................

I never much liked the band. However, I'm always intrigued when bands come back.
Unfortunately, there is no way to preview the track on their web site - but I've been promised a promo copy this week.

Can they possibly reclaim their former greatness typified by "Too Shy"? And what about Limahl? He's still gone! I think they're tampering too much with the original formula. Oh, it's also 24 years later and there's a good chance that even Sha Na Na might be seen as more relevant.
