The other offers appear to all be false and WMG can not ante up the level of bid to contest it. Apparently part of the terms of the Terra Firma offer is that they are going to buy down $800 million in EMI debt,that is beyond the buy price.

And buying down debt isn't something that another label suitor could even begin to do.
Interesting to see how this will affect the top brass at EMI.
