i'm not going to hate. she's actually developed pretty well musically over the years and her music has gone more the electro kylie mingoue-lite style lately. i saw her dj a couple of years back and her set was very dance and surprisingly very hipster-approved.

as the resident "hipster" on the rope, she gets a pass from me :P

Ignoring the fact for a moment that Depeche Mode came first, this song is very similar to "Womanizer" harmonically - apparently chromatically descending chords are "it" right now.
