She passed away this past Friday April 17th in her sleep.
Sabel had several tumors on her brain.
She was more Rock AND Roll that most!
She was 51 years old.

Sable Starr dies:

Have no info and it's nowhere online yet...but Legs McNeil posted that she passed away on his Facebook page earlier today.

Last I heard she was a card dealer in Vegas.

Hi Legs, Sweet Sable died of cancer, in her sleep, last friday night. I taledk to her boyfriend Bill this morning. It's so sad, I loved her, she was wonderful. I had last seen her last year as she visited my girlfriend and I in florida. We'll miss her dearly. Phil (Phillippe Marcade)

Poor girl.
She had a bunch of tiny tumors in her brain- almost 50!!
Thank God she died in her sleep and had a good attitude about it. She was at peace.

Very sad news for everyone. I didn't know her personally so my thoughts are with those who did.

I grew up with, and went to school with Sable & her sister in one of the most beautiful areas of L.A.

Too many NY Dolls, Zeppelin & Bowie stories to tell.

We weren't super close in recent years. It was just a part of my youth that held many fond and glorious memories.
I was given updates of her well being from various mutual friends. She was a very sweet girl.
Bob Gruen kept in touch with her. She was working in the casinos in Vegas, had a BF, her daughter...

When I wrote before that she had 50 small tumors in her head, I was serious. She found them too late. It was too late.
