But Taylor must have more fans than Gaga, since she was able to snag that "Breakthrough" award for her opening act.

The fall was edited out of the West Coast feed. No fair!

For your viewing pleasure.

Yeah, like we hadn't all seen it already. Did any of the profanity in the Eminem number make it onto TV on the East Coast? It was unlistenable out here.

No offense intended! But I thought it was ridiculous to delete something that so many people had seen already. These shows are tedious enough already without cutting out the good parts. ;-)

It was a mixed bag. Gaga was live to track. Rihanna was a hot tracked mess as usual with bits of live interaction. Whitney was live I'd say. Alicia Keys was track on her performance but live to track with Jay.....off the top of my head.

Whitney was horrible. Was she singing, preaching, off the wagon...???
Lambert was predictably entertaining (sorry no pun intended). Vocally, the "guy" was all over the place....not in a good way. Those high pitch wails got old really fast. Whatever, I'm sure he'll move a gazillion units.
The aforementioned J-Lo fall was classic....Jen, it might be time to go away once and for all! Daughtry was eh, Green Day was good, Gaga was fun.
Take the show for what it is, another promo before the holidays.

Was it just me, or was Keith Urban's performance canned? It sounded just too damn studio perfect to me. I'm not a fan, but I'd expect better from him.

Conversely, Green Day's performance was clearly the sound of a band plugging in a playing live, imperfections and all.

How many VelvetRopers voted for this? If you don't like the outcome, then you should have voted. Vote next year.

Let's see who gets a bump in sales.

There is a huge crowd lining up for the Lady GaGa meet and greet at BestBuy West Los Angeles today.
