My first post and I'm already a hater. This show was a commercial. But Lady Gaga has a great ass.

My theory of DeEvolution was brought one step closer to comfirmation due to the AMA's last night. The human species peaked quite a while ago, now we go go back into the ooze.......

Question about music/film/arts circa 2009: Is this REALLY what the mass wants? Have we truly degraded this much?

Trix, you pose a good question. I mean seriously, did we see *any* true artistry up there? I can't think of a single performance that even approached that word, although Mary J. and Alicia/Jay weren't horrible. (Funny to me that I'd be pointing out a rap record as being one of the best). Just a pathetic night of (mostly) lip-sync, dancing, posturing, selling and overblowing. Not a single redeeming moment for me, although Kate's dress was entertaining for a few seconds. But that's just sexist nonsense...the show itself shows how low the industry has taken us. wow.

Adam Lambert: It really makes me feel great to hear yet another male singer with a great voice misusing his talent. He could have done something very meaningful and put a bit of soul in his act, but he decided to try to be Madonna without showing skin. He's now a joke act, I'm sorry to say. I think the gay community should get as far away as possible from him.

Anne, thank you. When Adam was on Idol, he did some STUNNING renditions of tunes...reworking them very dramatically, etc. No question, the guy can really sing. So why do such a cartoon as your first single. I think last night's performance LOST him fans. You're totally right, now a complete joke act.

I agree. He's craving the fame. He's young. He won't have the luxury of development. He'll be fetal positioned eating Haagan Das with Perez in no time.

Quote of the day!

I guess we weren't alone in our thinking. There are others.

Wow. Out of curiosity I watched that performance of Lambert and others on YouTube. What a joke. It's almost too funny. Do these idiots realize how bad they suck?

WHITney...has VASTly improved!! Incredible..in what? 2 months...she had much better control and distance on her tones...she seemed much more comfortable and grateful for her opportunity..it was wonderfull...the top of her tone is still mostly gone...but it does seem to somehow..be healing..incredible

the rest? Witnessing the DECLINE of western culture...right there...except for witnessing the bRIlliance of the Gaga Getup...she's a bit twisted...kinda Eltonish, circa,,,what? 1980?

Lambert, Flambert....no wonder the original Adam was followed by Cain and Abel...totally calculated move on his part,,,he thought he was so "ahead of the curve" so "righteous" so "rock n roll" ...as he screeched a half hurl right into the abysmal of over the edge, forget the top

he's a commercial bottom
