Estonia's Kerli is on the soundtrack of the upcoming "Alice" film by Tim Burton. I checked out some of her videos and she does have an odd GaGa-esque style, but also has a style reminiscent of Bjork as well. Will she be the successor to Stefani or something even bigger?

Gaga's whole thing is distinctively American. Kerli very much has the Euro vibe going on.

By the way, Warhol's quote -- often misunderstood -- did not assert that fame would be limited to (the metaphorical) 15 minutes. He simply said that EVERYONE would get 15 minutes of fame.

It was merely a commentary on the prevalence of celebrity, not its duration. (For that, see James Gleick.)

it was actually an elaboration on his "Factory",which was producing not stars but "SUPERSTARS",a term coined by Warhol and Paul Morrissey his aide de camp;
they were taking drag queens,male hustlers and drug burn outs and processing them like Hollywood, actually, like Holly Woodlawn
