I say no because her US debut on Island from 2-3 years ago, "Love Is Dead", pretty much tanked...and her style is nothing like Gaga. I think she's pretty good, but she's no Gaga...some Bjorkisms yeah, but she's not over-the-top.
Honestly, I hate when these marketing people are saying she's the next Gaga, or whoever else...why cut someone's career short??? Get more creative, people, have Kerli map out her own style. I think Kerli IS as poppy as Gaga, writingwise, but she has a completely different style...more Euro and rock, not unlike Swedish female-fronted band Lambretta.

I did the six degrees of Toyah upthread with the Estonia connection(The Humans are the fave band of the president of estonia)...
Iavoided the six degrees in The Who thread;
there's a link to the film she did with Daltry in 1984(85?) but I left out all the stuff like her being cast by the boys as Monkey in the film 'Quadrophenia"...

She's cute but is no Lady Gaga. I'm wondering though, it must be in the air but everytime I think of a style that is original as a performer... then a ton of other artists come out the same time with the same style. Are we channeling each other's creativity? Hmmmmmmmm.
