(I have nothing to do with this but thought of you immediately, of course, when receiving the press release)
LOS ANGELES, CA, March 11th, 2010 - The one and only Diana Ross will be making summer nights red hot with her MORE TODAY THAN YESTERDAY tour. The legendary icon will perform her greatest hits in a multi-city spectacular live show. Ms. Ross will be pulling out all the stops with breathtaking costumes and stage designs, along with a live string and horn section. The must see show kicks off in Boston, MA on May 15th, the tour runs thru June 12th.
Diana Ross has had a profound influence on American popular culture and has become an icon in the entertainment industry. Jimi is probably comatose after reading that. Someone should seriously go check on him.
That being said....I AM SO THERE!

I was curious about what Jimi thought about the Motown Around the World Collection.

I work during the day with veterans as a certified nurses assistant, so no, I didn't have a coma... glad to see the girl coming out of seclusion, if she hits the area I'll go, although a proper version of "The Supremes Reunion" that she once promised would be more to my liking.. I haven't ordered "Motown Around The World" just yet, but there is a "Meet The Supremes" coming from Hip-O in April,I believe.. and I'm just as anxious to see Hip-O release the vol.2 of "The 70s Supremes; The Scherrie Payne Years"... I adore Miss Ross, she is my psychotic role model in many ways, BUT....I'm a Supremes fan first, and then a Diana Ross fan(which is almost the same thing, but actually, it isn't); her style, her frame of reference, her vibe changed dramatically after she went solo, and I prefer the old Diane, the fun Ross, for entertainment, the one who was hungry and eager to please, to the 70s version 2.0
